Чтобы спасти мир от коварного Аида, одного пресса на бицепсах недостаточно. Настоящий путь героя — пройти испытания, обрести веру в себя и... влюбиться.
Мюзикл, вдохновлённый анимационным хитом Disney, взрывает сцену музыкой Алана Менкена и искромётными текстами Дэвида Зиппела.
Здесь всё — и смех, и душевные баллады, и хоры муз, которые буквально держат сюжет на своих плечах.
